The "am I right" was, however, a question.
Uses the meme spelling / grammar just to irritate Tom even more (I prefer I persist. Nevertheless, I persisted will rub his goat the wrong way).
One more thing, nevertheless, lets delete a comma since Tom wants me to delete extra commas
