There is a world of difference between Federal Courts declining to review state and local restrictions on gun accessories and what you are suggesting is going to happen. Even on these state laws there are limitations - when NYC attempted to restrict magazines to 5 rounds the District Court tossed the law back at them and wouldn't allow less than the statewide law which is 10. If they wouldn't allow five shot magazines as too restrictive, do you think they will ban handguns? Not when attempts in Washington DC and Chicago have already failed the courts.
State laws in 8 states on gun accessories do not lead to two thirds of both Houses of Congress plus three fourths of all the States banning gun ownership anytime soon. Like the prospectus says when you purchase investments: past results do not predict future performance. That applies to predictions in most areas of life. That's why so few are correct.
