Both main characters are aliens on an alien world. One is a kind of hunter, I guess, whose society lives about at a medieval level of development. The other's society is more at a caveman level of development. I haven't even decided whether that society has a spoken language more complicated than that of apes.
Second character is pretty daunting, too. But not, like, 'arguing with me about what to write' daunting.
Hollywood has the best moral compass, because it has compassion.
