Does the original use of a word in a language matter anymore? Roland00 Send a noteboard - 29/11/2018 08:59:12 PM

Martin seems incapable of finishing the series. He's 70 years old, he was morbidly obese for a long time (though he seems to have slimmed down a bit), and the odds are he will pull a Robert Jordan on us, though since HBO is going to give us the ending we want in April of this year, it won't matter.

Does the original use of a word in a language matter anymore, when everyone now uses a different definition? What happens when the 2nd and 1st definition conflict? I mean what is the meaning of inflammable anymore, when flammable and inflammable mean the same thing? This is literally wrong!

Wait are we talking about language anymore or we talking about stories from books versus visual media
