I've often thought about that.... Jeordam Send a noteboard - 22/01/2019 11:20:16 PM

That by sequestering myself, the "center" (even though I'm "Right"???) voice is silenced. However, when I dwell on this though, I see it as much ado to nothing, because the "center" voice doesn't get traction. Why? Because moderate or unemotional thoughts don't itch that scratch. They don't get you off. What does? The "My side wins & your side looses!!!!"

This is what you see in every one of these instances. Whether correct or not...it must be a win/loose scenario, because that is what gets attention. The "Let's get all the facts first" camp just doesn't have the emotional release as going extreme in either direction.

As per why you feel safe to share here, I'm going to toss this hat into the ring. It's because here, one specifically has to come to see what is said. You have to make the effort. You have to feed yourself that information, as opposed to letting the system feed you while you sit there. Thoughts?

And like you, I'm getting less political as I get older. A little grey here and there...a few new lines around my eyes...and all of a sudden, I just a bit less political than I was.
