If it was, I can't imagine they weren't.
The BWB said that in the AoL the way it normally worked is the channeler would make the thing that made the thing... that might of well made yet another thing, how can we know?
Basically while there were a lot more channelers, there was even more demand, and it isn't like every single channeler is capable of such things.
How many OP-Forged weapons would you guess still existed pre-tEotW? *NM*
