I wish I had some magic words that would fix everything.

That sucks that your ex is being so unreasonable.
have the daycare tried to speak with her about it and not just you?
What if Anna talked to your ex and asked if the kids could be at the celebration?

What about her family? Do you think they could help reason with her?

I know these are awful questions... I'm sorry this whole situation just really sucks.
