The point is that natural disasters happen everywhere, and that while there's a discussion to be had about the wisdom of New Orleans continuing to exist, nobody runs out screaming "I told you so" when a building collapses in San Diego due to an earthquake. The complaint is focused only on the Southeastern United States.
Have y'all seen this? Qatar is air conditioning their open-air markets and stadiums.
