French *became* the language of love? *NM* Roland00 Send a noteboard - 28/10/2019 03:17:54 PM

There was this hilarious article that explained how French is not the language of love because there aren't any words that mean what they're supposed to. Aimer means "to like" as well as "to love", and of course baiser...

It was a hypothetical situation and it made fun of how almost every word that could be used has other meanings that have become more commonplace.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
