So yesterday the NY Times tweeted out an article of theirs about the "end of friendly generational relations." It features a pic of a pink hoodie sporting a graphic with the phrase, "OK Boomer" followed by "have a terrible day."

This amused me so I replied, "This just violated my safe space."


I am amazed at the number of replies, which are continuing to grow even as I type.

The most popular reply? "OK Boomer" (points for originality)

Here are some others:

"Wait, till you're in a nursing home" (why the comma?)

"It smells like boomer in here"

"I wonder where the fucking boomer is"

"let's not be too harsh they obviously don't understand twitter"

"OK Boomer. Why don't you just retweet more Ben Shapiro and stay in your safe space"

Plus the replies to me have received 164 "likes."

All in all, this is my most successful trolling expedition ever.
