After 9/11, for example, Americans accepted the near-total destruction of their civil liberties in the PATRIOT Act’s hollow promises of security.


So anyways, I had enough of this article right here in sentence #2.


I mean, either the sentence is true and I, as an American, have had my civil liberties nearly totally destroyed and am therefore powerless, or it's false and I'll use my freedom to ignore this clown.
