By taking himself and 2 other GOP senators from the Senate floor, Rand Paul may have saved the GOP from pushing though it's complete clusturfuck of a stimulus bill. The Dems have way more leverage, and for once, they seem happy to use it rather than chicken out.

Unless McConnell access to their demands that the Senate allow remote voting. Which is a good long term change anyway.
