So at some point the people who despise Trump have to ask themselves are they open to finding any positives about Trump and his handling of the crisis. Or are blinkers so high that they will never allow themselves to see anything objectively.

For example President Carter approval rating went up with the Iran Hostage Crisis. It was only later it went down.
One thing that is different is with the last 7 days of national news numbers...there ratings are higher now than the same time last year, by 42% ! The style of the nightly news and how it broadcasts / articulates its format makes it easier to have a firm opinion about something even if in reality it is complex. Easier to create approval or disproval in either direction if that is your only / main news source.
And we have a death we can lay directly at Trump's door
