But I don't recall these triangles ever being mentioned. Doesn't mean they were not used but there is nothing especially Nazi about them. Red triangles are used as a warning sign on the road all the time in every country.
See link for an overview. Surely the museums you were in also covered the non-Jewish concentration camp prisoners? And anyway, from what I understand, Jewish people who also fell into one of those other categories would've had a combination badge.
