Yesterday's Yanks/Phillies game was postponed due to the stupid storm.
So what does that mean?
Today, they are playing a doubleheader. Two games on one day.
OF.SEVEN.INNINGS.EACH!!!!
What is this, Little League? In a standard 9 inning game, the starting pitcher has to complete 5 innings to get the win. Also you have to complete 5 for the game to count in the event of bad weather ending it early. How does that work in a 7 inning game???
I hate this so much. As if a 60 game season instead of 162 and playoffs with 16 teams instead of 10 didn't already cheapen the outcome.
2020 sucks.
