Math and logic are not strong with everyone.


Also cash is disgusting. The problem will be solved when we are a totally cashless society.


Cash is tangible. Apple pay is too easy. It doesn't feel like the transaction has cost you anything. Whereas paying with cash provides the sensation of parting with something you worked to obtain, in order to acquire your purchase.
