How utterly delicious that the GOP's odds of confirming a right wing nut job to replace RBG is now sabotaged by their own idiotic disdain for basic science.

They have almost all of October as well as all of November and December. A Lame Duck Senate can confirm the judge just as easily. The current Congress' term ends on January 2, 2021.

They have all the time in the world that they need. 90 days. And in fact, if they don't manage to somehow confirm Barrett by November 3, it could actually help some of the sitting Senators in the tight races that they were headed to lose.
