I would say it's a couple of things. Cannoli Send a noteboard - 04/10/2020 04:30:15 PM

Every time Lara's people show up Harry describes them as lady vampires backed up by professional soldiers. I know the white king killed all his sons except Thomas who he would eventually killed but surely there are other males in the family. Did butcher forget about them or did I miss Harry's mentioning them or are they blending into the shooters or doing some other job or what?

Lara only trusts close family for the important public jobs, especially after Madrigal's & Madeline's treacheries in White Night & Turn Coat, respectively, which means sisters and nieces. And Harry might have grown up a bunch from the leering in the early books (especially given that he now has a daughter and avuncular relationships to a few woman-shaped people, like Molly & Ivy), but he's still Harry, and he's gonna see the she-vampires first. He's not going to pay attention to the build and grace of a man until he needs to, or is otherwise made aware.
