Tough and hard, but it can change a child's (or multiple) lives. So slow, take the time to learn about this. Research. It is definitely in every state.
And indeed, it truly is a different stream to navigate for every State of the Union. Her situation has changed a few times with regards to the children coming for brief periods and others for longer. She even is in the process (ya never know how these things will work out) for adopting one sibling pair.
It can be amazing to see the change effected, but as a single-man, who at that time will be in my mid-heading-to-late 50's ... I will add it to the list as something possibly to look into further supporting with more active means but not direct undertaking.
Thanks for calling this side of Jeo's post to the forefront of discussion, I am sorry for missing it - I need to be more angular and less head-on in my conceptualization and point of view here.
