How are you managing with the power outages? I assume it's worse in the Dallas area than in the Houston area but maybe not? Are the temperatures where you are a big problem?

Got to 51 F indoors in "Freedom Units" (so what is that in superior European units? 10.5 C indoors, eek!)

Still do not have water.

I was worried about my father (he is safe) for due to his spinal cord injury his body doesn't know when to shiver and so on when it gets cold. But what was I to do? Put him in a hotel that were all full and they too have no power? Can not take him to the hospital if he was safe at the time, just had to be vigilant in case he took a turn for the worse.

But that is over now, for we have power (at the moment, may lose it again tonight for it is going to be below freezing and texas obviously sucks with its power grid) and nothing bad happened to my dad, but yeah I am in a grumpy mood right now. Will be so until I get some sleep and a regular routine.
