1) We don’t want justice in a story.
2) We want the authors to know what justice might look like.

There was an explanation about doing justice in the first scene to portray Starks. Don't it being followed through when Sansa smirks while feeding a man to his own dogs or while Arya serves a man an improbably-acquired pie with his sons in it.

It's probably for the best they dropped Lady Stoneheart, since while the books make it clear there is nothing just about her, I doubt the showrunners would have grasped it.
