I feel like it would be weird to stop there. Crossroads of Twilight seems more like a natural rage-quit point.
I never got that attitude, and I always pick it as my favorite book on polls to dick with the numbers.
KoD, on the other hand, had the longest ever gap, so it makes sense one might get diverted or distracted waiting 5+ years for it to come out. And it's where the series more or less ended for me.
