Avoiding nuclear war trumps(!!!) any consideration of fealty to your nation. I'd say that holds for almost any circumstance I can imagine, but especially so if said war was to be triggered to soothe the ego of a maniacal loser.
And as for other avenues to deal with this: please. It is ludicrous to suggest your Constitution has anything in place. After the utter farce of Trump not being impeached for the insurrection on the 6th, I wonder at you being able to claim there's a legitimate way to air such concerns and any legitimate way to contain Trump when he was President.
