How do you know, since nearly all of them involve later books? Other than the first season being eight episodes rather than ten, which definitely hasn't worked out well... even if they hadn't wasted most of an episode on that funeral nonsense (giving Logain much more screentime in episode 4, I thought was a reasonable choice, even if some of the details were bad), they still would have lacked time to properly flesh out the main plot. Though obviously part of the problem there was also the moronic 'let's keep the identity of the Dragon a secret for most of the season' bit.
