Reading those at recess was one thing, having a female classmate doing the same was a bit of a thrill for a shy teenage boy.

I only read the second one. That was porn. Granted, some of it was flint-knapping porn, but also pornography-porn. Reading that book along with a member of the opposite sex, at that age, yeah. Just a bit in the realm where if I was her dad, you might find me at the library with a shotgun.
