In Gathering Storm, chapter Embers and Ashes, Hopper says something to the effect that if Shadowkiller(Rand) dies they will all sleep forever. If Rand lives they will hunt together ie they'll share the waking world once again, presumably in the next turning. I have always got the impression that if the DO wins then he wins in all worlds and he'd unmake them. Does this suggest the dream world is beyond the DO'S touch? the only real problem I have with this is that as the pattern was weakening people could see the dead, which would imply that the barrier between worlds and the dream world was collapsing...
