It's like humiliation porn for your favorite book series. In fact, it truly wouldn't surprise me if they put Rand in a gimp outfit at some point.

It honestly makes the books better for me. As they vainly dance around Jordan's traditional views and folk wisdom, the contrast lends more weight to the importance of those fading ideals.
