I think so - it's not exactly comparable to GoT or WoT or so, it's more a superhero comic meets American Gods kinda style, mostly contemporary settings but with supernatural/superpower elements. And relatively dark - or very dark, at times. Episode 5 is particularly dark though also particularly good.
