This amused me from the NYT review of episode 1 damookster Send a noteboard - 22/08/2022 04:21:37 PM

My weariness with parts of it is tied to a more general weariness with media conglomerates endlessly flogging their profitable intellectual property. (Marvel’s “She-Hulk” premiered Thursday; “Lord of the Rings” and “Andor,” the latest “Star Wars” series, arrive next month.) It can all feel like a streaming content pharma ad: “Do you recognize the elements of thrilling drama but still feel malaise while watching it? You may be suffering from franchise fatigue …”

Have you seen Star Trek Strange New Worlds, btw? Probably the best sci-fi I've seen so far this year.

I have not. I don't currently have Paramount+. I need to add it as there are several things I want to watch.
