You get invited to dinner. No one says dinner will involve meat, only your personal bias tells you it should be meat. You find dinner that was prepared without the torture and murder of living beings. You are not only disappointed that such atrocities were not committed to feed you, you then complain to your very gracious hosts and leave, and somehow the hosts are supposed to be nice to you?

What he implied is that the hosts shouldn't lie about him.
