Please put quotes around things you're actually quoting, instead of making things up. (again!)

I have no idea what the phrase "making things up" is implying here. What did I make up? The sentences within the quotes? That was clearly the intent there. I'm not even remotely hinting anyone actually said that. Why is this not clear to you?
Lies like this:

Not really. How's this different from informing the hosts their vegan meal felt like a bait and switch?

I prefer one thing to another and say so, and you wonder how that's different than accusing someone of believing things they don't believe on social media?

How about 'telling the truth about my own preferences' is different than 'telling lies about someone else's beliefs'?

It's hard to take your objections seriously, this seems so transparently wrong.
