  1. Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power
    Nope. The Powers That Be in charge of what is apparently a bad version of Tolkien's history of books I actually like must be punished. If you want to write your own stuff and do great or screw it all up, more power to you. If you want to take our classics andmake it your own, knock it out of the park, or don't step up to the plate.

  2. Wheel of Time
    I'm about 40/60 on this one. First season sucked and it ticked me off. I can't imagine the second season will be any better. It'll be hard to justify 'hate watching' in a timely manner that gives the showrunners bragging rights about having a popular show, and encourages them to make more. I can watch it in 5 years instead - I'm not exactly worried about spoilers.

  3. House of the Dragon
    I've heard the showrunners on this one are doing a pretty good job. I don't know - never watchedGame of Thronesor read the books. It's the sort of thing that probably would appeal to me but I know they didn't really stick the landing on GoT and it left a bad taste in a lot of fans' mouths. No reason to sign up for that, and I kind of expect it. If I'm wrong, I can always watch it in 2027 or whatever. I strongly suspect I will never watch this but 2027 aerocontrols is unpredictable. Who really knows what he'll do. Hopefully he'll have better stuff to watch.

Right now I'm re-watching The Wire. That's good TV.

Also, I really liked Reacher and The Terminal List. So much good stuff out there. I want them to make more seasons of The Orville so sometimes I start streaming the existing episodes and leave the house.

Hollywood has the best moral compass, because it has compassion.
