Not nearly as bad as Rings of Power, as I have said before. Rings of Power is perhaps the worst content to ever have aired in any medium that I have seen. It makes Wheel of Time seem like The Godfather.
Seriously, they took long enough to kill off the king. What, honestly, has happened this whole season? A bunch of arguments, lots of people saying "bastards", a kid lost an eye, a guy got his head chopped off and a few other people died or seemed to die, but no one anyone cares about.
How can we get invested in any of these characters? They're flat and stupid and boring. The only one I marginally like is the one-eyed kid, who apparently is supposed to be a villain. But who cares? We know how it all ends.
When someone knows how it ends, one way to make it interesting is to have major characters whose fates are not known woven in, so we can wonder, "Oh, is he going to get killed by the dragon when X gets killed by the dragon, or will he survive? If he survives, how?"
