But yes, so far there aren't many of the nutcases in elected positions yet, fortunately. Still, you see more reasonable Republicans in close races do beat Democratic incumbents, so while you can't oversimplify too much and every race is different, it's probably still safe to say the Republicans would've won a few more of those seats with more reasonable candidates.
