Yeah, maybe that's what happened. Even an arterial blockage my have a 'deeper' cause that was self-inflicted. My father died of a stroke caused by a blood clot at age 56. A week or so after getting into a fight, and also after a lifetime of smoking and alcoholism.
If he had been famous enough for someone to demand a press release about why it happened, I suppose it still might have said 'natural causes'.
