And you're right, the clock made the game move along as it should. Not only in limiting the time between pitches to 20 seconds, but also by requiring the batter to be in the box and addressing the pitcher by the 8 second mark.
With it being so damned cold on Thursday, the 2 hrs and 33 minutes game time was appreciated!
