The media are starting to realize they have to report something approaching the truth on what is actually happening in Ukraine, after the fantasyland spin they've been perpetuating for over a year, all while decrying that Russian reports to the contrary were all "propaganda" (pot, meet kettle).

However, even then they're just desperately trying to spin things. The war will enter a "stalemate" now because "Ukraine didn't listen to the West" or "there were too many bushes and shrubs on the southern front" or whatever other excuse they're giving for why a country where half the people want the invader to win, that has insufficient air power and artillery, whose drone systems are jammed regularly, attempting to attack an enemy with a numerical advantage, couldn't sustain an offensive just because they were given some tanks and APCs by NATO.

X, along with Telegram, is one of the only places that actually allows posts of endless destroyed Strykers, Challengers, Leopards, Bradleys and that shit that pussy countries like Sweden and France made. It's the only place, along with Telegram, that will allow posts showing the dead bodies strewn all over the place or the Ukrainian guy who live streamed himself slowly dying. You can see the people fighting the fat, red-faced (drunk) recruitment officers who are trying to send disabled, mentally ill and old people to the front to desperately keep the line.

It's sad, yes. But it also shows how much outright lying has been taking place in Western media, and how those lies have really just enabled the deaths of more Ukrainians and Russians because it's increasingly obvious to everyone Ukraine can't win, and when the US decided to aggressively confront Russia on Russia's borders, it did so with callous disregard to the inevitable outcome.

Ever since February 2022, Western media have been lying, brazenly, about what's going on, whether it's apocryphal reports of baby rape (that one was so outrageous even the West couldn't sustain it, so they fired the Human Rights Commissioner of the Ukraine and then said she said it to discredit Ukraine and was herself a Russian spy - you can't make this shit up), or that Russia lost 1 million soldiers and Ukraine lost 10 people, or maybe 12, most of them injured. There was a site called Oryx that counted every destroyed vehicle as "Russian" until the Ukes ran out of Soviet hardware, at which point Oryx decided to shut down rather than count how many APCs or tanks Ukraine lost. Convenient.

It exposes how the mainstream media (ON BOTH SIDES) have led a chorus of propaganda that has only enriched the weapons manufacturers and their lobbyists, all to taxpayer detriment and at the cost of the obliteration of an entire generation of people. Yes, a big percentage of the volunteers for Country 404 were neo-Nazis (a fact that was methodically scraped from the internet by removing dozens, if not hundreds, of old articles and replacing them with "but the actor playing the President of Ukraine is a Jew! They must be philosemites!" ), so perhaps it's a good thing the Russians physically eliminated them. But what about all the guys dragged off the streets, given 2 days of training and sent to the front to die, leaving behind a wife and kids? Those guys didn't ask to fight for Stepan Bandera or the "Ukrainian Aryan Race". They're dying anyway, so that some sack of shit Ukrainian bureaucrat can buy yet another villa in Spain or France on the money he's syphoning off from the billions of unaudited Western aid and resales of Western hardware.

So on balance, thank God for X.
