It really shows that you haven't seen Rebels. Rebels, Clone Wars season 7, and the three Ahsoka "Tales of the Jedi" episodes are some of her best stuff. Though she's not really a 'main' character of Rebels, and only shows up because Kainan isn't a real Jedi, and Ezra as his pupil has an even bigger handicap to become a real Jedi.
Episode 3 is worse. Between the Clone Wars and Rebels, Ahsoka probably has the best character arc in Star Wars. Look how they're massacring my girl.
The impression I got of Ahsoka from the Clone Wars (I saw the movie and the episodes set before Revenge of the Sith), and Rebels, was that she was spunky and emotional and expressive. The impression I retained of Sabine was that she was perky, upbeat and irrepressible. For Hera, it was wise, caring, determined and both the beating heart of the Rebels crews and perpetually the adult in the room (Kainan helped most of the time, but could have his lapses). What I see on the live-action show is a trio of identically stoic, reserved and smug badasses the show believes are always right and best in the room. I've met all three of them before this, and I have no idea who they are on this show.
