However, the show still looks so small in scale. Every forest looks the same, every village looks the same, every hallway and room of the White Tower looks the same. I know there are likely budget concerns, but this is supposed to be an epic world.

The Seanchan scene from E3 was literally at a street corner. Just no scope with the film making. Everything looks like bland movie sets. Gotta me on location much more.
