It doesn't matter if it works or not. LiterateDog Send a noteboard - 15/09/2023 09:21:41 AM

You know, you KNOW, if some near-limitless, non-polluting energy source was invented tomorrow, or if some proven solution to mitigate the purported effects of excess atmospheric CO2 were at hand, the greens and their allies among the elite would HATE them. We have a semi-decent solution now on the power generation side of things: nuclear energy. If they really cared about it, we'd already have modular nuclear power plants sprouting like mushrooms and people could use all the electricity they wanted. But that won't do. TPTB don't really want a solution beyond the impoverishment/disempowerment of the hoi polloi and the continuation of their own power and self-importance. If the happiness and wealth of the peasants have to be sacrificed to appease their new god and allow them to persist in their roles as the priests and cardinals of this new religion, so be it.
