One of the things in the WOT books that always interested me was the Seanchan Ogier. Specifically if they found Stedding quickly and did not suffer from the Longing. We do know they were never da'covale (slaves) to the Empress but did serve her. And what also interested me was what would happen when Seanchan Ogier met Randland Ogier. Never occurred in the books.

And two things greatly bothered me about that scene at the start. Loial is presented as an Ogier slave from Suroth to Turok. What? Are Ogier not special in Seanchan? And Turok is talking about the mission of the Return is to unite the world to fight the Shadow. So 1 - We know full well the Ogier were not treated this way in Seanchan and we never got to meet the warlike Seanchan Ogier meeting the peaceful Steading bound Ogier of Randland in the books. And two - we know the Seanchan did not believe in the Shadow because Trollocs and Myrrdraal were fairy tales to them as apparently over 3000 years since the Breaking they destroyed it all and the shadow creatures didnt invade Seanchan instead focusing all their forces in Randland. I remember Tuon discounting things Mat said about Trollocs specifically.

So why the change? Again its like Rafe doesnt know what to do with the Seanchan. Explain Artur Hawking. Explain a bit more of the history of the Randlands and what the Hailene and Corenne are. In the first season there were these fun little animated extras about the world. Create one of these for the Seanchan.

Ok I need to stop because I am getting angry about the Seanchan when I hate those guys. But not as much as Faile. And the Shaido. And Perrin. Maybe Perrin can be killed off like his wife was.
