But yeah, besides what I wrote there, it's probably also a question of taste more generally. And not only in comedy for that matter - still thinking of my list for the other posts, but it would also include various British shows. In pop/rock music and television, I'd say it's the UK that leads the world, not the US (movies of course are another story).
