Judging on a per season basis, would you really rank HotD that far above all of GoT's seasons? Legolas Send a noteboard - 12/01/2024 08:18:59 PM

View original post 4. House of the Dragon (made the best season of the IP, from the worst book in the series; is a lot more historically plausible and better at politics and characterization than GoT, looks much nicer, too)

I loved HotD, but was it even better than GoT's early seasons? Both were brilliant in my view, and I'm not sure HotD will be able to maintain the same high level for another season (or two? certainly they shouldn't make more than that), now that the building tension has erupted into open civil war.

Interesting. I might have to rewatch to fully judge, but not sure I agree. Legolas - 12/01/2024 11:38:31 PM 569 Views

I wouldn't bother with Fire & Blood, it's like a weak version of Thomas Costain's dramatic histories Cannoli - 13/01/2024 04:01:03 AM 472 Views

Do a "historical/period piece" and I can name ten easily. It will be hard to keep it to 10. *NM* Tom - 12/01/2024 09:26:05 PM 273 Views
Do a "soap opera/fluff" one and see more things I'm somewhat embarrassed to say I watched *NM* Tom - 12/01/2024 09:30:14 PM 285 Views
