We do not speak Attic Greek. Nor we speak the Latin of the ancient world. What we do speak is English - a mix of Germanic and French. The English language is exceptional in its ability to create new words while ignoring the rules of the languages it borrows from.

There is no race to the lowest or stupidest. There is only freedom from the old and hidebound who don't understand how languages work and think that the language they speak is some true form. It's not. Language evolves. And continues to evolve. But your argument has been used for millenniums. And yes, I purposely used millenniums there rather than millennia. Just as we use museums and stadiums. See how we took a word from Latin and used english grammar there? That's called language evolution.

But back to word creation. I suggest you read more Shakespeare and find all the words he created that centuries later we still use.
