As for the media - come on, we both know they are no longer objective and don't even pretend to be objective. They were part of the "Emperor has no clothes" court. To do what you suggest from them is to implicate themselves in the coverup - the questions handed to media, the lack of spontaneous interviews, hell the lack of interviews, as well as lying when people have video, claiming videos were being doctored. They are the reason that the country is in this place - if they had been honest, they would have reported on Biden's cognitive decline and we would have had a true primary this year. But we didn't. And so there the Democrats are now - with Harris, one of the worst possible candidates.

You and I both know that the Fourth Estate in the US in 2024 is essentially an extension of the Democratic party.
Yes objective journalism no longer exists, and hasn't for quite some time. I grew up listening to Walter Cronkite and Huntley and Brinkley. News anchors who believed viewers shouldn't ever be able to tell which viewpoint they favored. What a very long way we have fallen since then.

So, why exactly has Biden bowed out of the election?

Frankly, it wouldn't be a bad thing if both parties became more racially diverse.

Democrats voted for a Biden/Harris ticket. And the majority of the party supports Harris.
