These are certainly benefits!
By thinking the first sex/race is a benefit. I certainly don't think the first out gay man would be a benefit if Buttigieg were running for President right now. I care more about a candidate's policies than about anything else.
As for immediate cease-fire being a benefit - I will admit that certain responses to the current Gaza conflict are what pushed me to the right. There was a cease fire on October 6. And if you had at least written that Harris's position was inhumane and that she should have qualified it with an immediate cease fire on condition of all the hostages, dead and alive, being first released, I could respect your position.
I completely support you on not wanting to ban gender-affirming care for adults. I will support you 100% on this issue and always will.
