I do hope the actors can move on to bigger and better things - they were generally pretty good, not their fault the writing sucked so much.

It seems to have been more a financial decision than a critical one - which you'd think could also happen to RoP considering its famously huge budget. But maybe that one is just too high profile to drop, as long as the viewing numbers remain remotely decent?
