Two things.
First, whatever people think of ICE, they are federal agents. As are the FBI, DEA, ATF, Postal Inspectors, Military Police, and NCIS, just to name a few. All have specific areas of enforcement. That doesn’t mean you can interfere with any of them in the course of carrying out their duties. Unless you don’t mind getting arrested. People who claim ICE aren’t the police so you can disregard their orders are at best misinformed and at worst, are goddam liars.

Second, your concluding example amuses me. If memory serves, abortion was legal in all 50 states for a half century. Remind me how many times there were violent confrontations between law enforcement and pro life protesters during those 50 years.
