I can wish nothing but happiness for those with gender dysphoria, while at the same time feeling sympathetic to female athletes who frequently lose to trans-females in competition. I can also be amused at a lawyer who has difficulty articulating her position, and wonder if the ACLU has now opened a can of worms around the totality of Title 19.
I can also sympathize with the concerns of gay friends who fear that the views of those who try to reframe childhood same sex attraction as indicative of gender dysphoria as an existential threat to gayness.
