In a way I did get to "see" who killed WF. I saw him react to a knock on the door, saw him get killed, then heard another scream.

Maybe Isaac thought this info would be enough. It certainly is mysterious enough to add to the flavor of the story, but it also gives us enough clues that who ever else was found dead, had to have been the person who killed WF. If it wasn't, the only other solution is the person killing WF also killing comebody else, maybe Bergioyn - is that even possible?
Even if Yuna had not said anything about Bergioyn's mission in the Night, we could have figured it out from this.
